Headteacher's Welcome
Thank you for expressing an interest in Lime Tree Primary School, the first primary academy in Reigate and Redhill.
I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to Lime Tree Primary School.
We are a two form entry primary school which opened in September 2013, located in our bright, modern, purpose built school in Merstham. We have 7 year groups (Reception through to Year 6) and our Nursery provision for preschool children (from aged 2).
Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff aim to provide the best education for all our children by ensuring they are supported, engaged and inspired in their learning.
At Lime Tree we belive in setting the highest possible standards in everything we do and ensuring our children become the best they can be. We strive for our children to experience a wide range of opportunities to develop their love of school and learning.
When you join Lime Tree our rich and varied curriculum will provide opportunities to develop skills to be successful in the future. As an academy we will follow the outline of the National Curriculum. The emphasis will be teaching through engaging topics, where creative learning is linked through exciting and relevant contexts that meet the different interests and needs of all its children. Visit our curriculum pages to find out more.
As an academy within GLF Schools, we benefit from sharing outstanding resources, and support in every aspect of school life from learning and teaching to staffing and educational expertise.
In addition we work closely with Surrey County Council and other local schools to meet the needs of our community.
Choosing the right school for your child is an important and often difficult decision so we hope that this website gives you a flavour of what life at Lime Tree Primary School is like. Should you wish to, we would be delighted if you arranged a visit to the school to see our hard working, dedicated staff and eager, happy children in the classroom.
Please feel free to contact us if you require any further information or a paper copy of any information on our website.
