GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Lime Tree Primary school is committed to keeping children safe online. The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children's. For parents and carers, this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of.

Internet Safety Day

Every year we have a day dedictaed to Internet Safety; however, it is not just one day, internet safety is important everyday. 

Have a conversation with children about using the internet safely, responsibly and positively. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, foster carer, aunt, uncle or older sibling – we can all play a role in empowering children to enjoy their time online! 

UK Safer Internet Centre focuses on how consent works in an online context and exploring how young people ask, give, and receive consent online. This could be in their friendships or relationships, how they take and share images and videos or how they manage their privacy and data. These conversation starters are a great way to help you talk about these issues with children.  Click here for more information on conversation starters.
