Fancy joining Lime Tree or one of our sister schools?
Whether you are a teacher looking to further your career in the profession or someone who would like to get into the world of education but you are not sure where to start? Then the answer to your questions could be just a matter of days away.
On Saturday 26 November, GLF Schools, which Lime Tree is part of, is hosting a Recruitment Fair at the Beacon School in Banstead where potential teachers can find out more about career opportunities within the multi-academy trust.
Since its foundation in 2012 as a partnership between two Surrey schools, GLF Schools has expanded rapidly, and there are now 20 non-selective, cross-sector schools across four counties, from new-builds to well-established schools.
GLF Schools’ aim is that each school should be designed to meet the needs of the local community that it serves, but that all establishments work together in a collaborative management way to ensure that all their children and students grow, learn and flourish.
Jon Chaloner, CEO at GLF Schools, said: "All of us working in schools are facing a huge challenge with regards to recruiting good or outstanding teachers. Falling numbers entering the profession as well as increasing numbers of those leaving due to the pressures of the job, mean that it will become harder and harder to ensure schools are fully staffed.
"At GLF Schools we are pleased to be able to offer our staff a career with the Trust rather than just a job. The range of opportunities across the Trust continue to grow and we are focussing on creating career paths at GLF Schools so wherever you are in your career there are opportunities to develop and progress within the organisation."
The Recruitment Fair will offer prospective teachers a chance to find out more about full time, part-time, permanent and temporary roles within theTrust, with GLF staff on hand to talk about life in their schools and careers within the organisation.
