Sport Relief 2016
On Friday 18th March 2016 we celebrated Sports Relief. Everyone came to school dressed in sport inspired clothing. Children wore their favourite sporting outfit such as their gymnastics costume or football kit.
Some children stared the day by running a mile. Parents, children and teachers has lots of fun completing four laps of the running track which equalled one mile.
During the day, every class took part in a fun and challenging sports carrousel in the playground. There were many challenges and lots of opportunities to explore our sporting equipment and show off our fantastic skills.
The day was a great success and we raised lots of money for Sports Relief. Of all the money raised by the public through Sport Relief, 50% is used to make a difference, right here at home, in the UK. The other 50% goes towards transforming lives across the world’s poorest communities.
Our final total raised was a massive £1,420.00 so a huge Thank You to everyone who supported us!
