Being in PJ's, reading a good book!

This year the school took part in “Pyjamarama Day”, raising money for The Book Trust to enable all children to have their own books. We spent the day in our PJs sharing stories and talking about our favourite books. We raised a total of £352.40 which means that 210 children will receive their own books for their home, Fantastic!

We had some surprise video “Mystery Readers” including Mrs Williamson and some parents sharing a favourite story.  We also virtually buddied up with other classes to read and share stories.

The BookTrust is the largest reading charity that supports all children and families to enjoy reading together. It also supports parents, giving guidance and support on how to read with your child and suggested reads. Should you want more information please visit their website www.booktrust.org.uk
