Local Multisports Competition

On Friday 15th November, 12 Year 1 and 2 children took part in a multisports competition at St Bedes. The children were shown how to complete each activity by students of St Bedes and then they had two minutes to score as many points as they could. The activities required the children to use their throwing and catching, co-ordination and balancing skills as well as using collaboration to work in pairs or a whole team. The morning was finished with a relay race which Lime Tree won.

Overall, after the scores had been calculated , Lime Tree placed third. The children were extremely proud of their achievements (and were incredibly excited to show the staff and their peers back at school their medals). Well done to all children who took part and as always thank you to the parent volunteers who helped make the trip viable. We look forward to competing in the Spring KS1 multisports event next term.
