Water, Water Everywhere!

On the 28th and the 29th January Year 4 spent the day at Bough Beech. We had an amazing time and learnt lots of new information about how to treat water. Half the group went to look around the reservoir to see where the water from the River Eden gets pumped to. We saw how full the reservoir was and the overflow, which was a fantastic sight. The rest of the group looked around the factory where all the different processes happen to treat the water. We then swapped over after lunch. At the end they showed us how much water an average family of four use a day and it is a lot! They gave lots of tips on how to save water and we got to take home a book of activities. We had a brilliant day!
