The Great Lime Tree Bake Off

A huge thank you to everyone who donated cakes and took part in ‘The Great Lime Tree Bake Off’ on Wednesday 24th May. Emily-May Oliver from Roald Dahl class was the overall winner with her beautiful wildlife themed cake. Congratulations Emily-May!

Homethorpe House are delighted that their charity event raised £255.40 for The Wildlife Aid Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. Established in 1980, the charity’s veterinary wildlife hospital in Leatherhead, Surrey deals with more than 20,000 wildlife emergencies every year. Their dedicated aim is to return every patient to the wild once they have recovered. The rescue, rehabilitation and release of these vulnerable animals, comes at a cost of roughly £1100 per day! This is why Holmethorpe House believe that if we all pull together, we can help to make a difference!
