The Glyn Learning Foundation

Reception Uniform

For Reception children joining Lime Tree in September 2018, there will be a phased introduction of the new EYFS uniform for the first two terms of Reception (Autumn and Spring).

Our decision to change the uniform to an EYFS uniform is based on the requirements of a physical curriculum and ensuring the children’s maximum comfort and accessibility to learning opportunities, which are primarily experienced through play. We would therefore recommend that this is the most appropriate uniform for the children.

The phased introduction provides the choice between two winter uniforms, which can be worn from September until the end of the Spring Term 2019, when the EYFS Summer uniform will be required.
